Trilogy combines segments from three different BN rides resulting in a scenic ride utilizing mainly quieter backroads and some shared paths with coffee at Bar Italia. We wind our way through to Concord then on to Cabarita before heading to the Gladesville Bridge. A toilet stop is planned at the old Quarantine Station in Russel Lea. The route then takes us parallel to Victoria Road as we make our way past Birkenhead and onto the Bay Run., then through to the coffee break in Norton Street Leichhardt.
Our return is via Five Dock and Concord before entering Bicentennial Park and back to our starting point.
Most of the route is on quieter back streets but we also use shoulders, with passing cars, and some narrow, shared paths that require caution due to pedestrians. Whilst there are no major climbs, we do encounter a few short, sharp sections.
The ride would suit most riders who have previously completed similar distances.
The main hazards are pedestrians on the shared paths, especially The Bay Run on weekends.
NOTE: AS THERE ARE OTHER RIDES COMMENCING AT MEADOWBANK, WE'LL ADJUST OUT START LOCATION.
CASH ONLY AT COFFEE.
WE'LL FINISH AT THE BIG RIDES DAY LUNCH.
