Arc around Lake Ginninderra and up to new-ish Gungahlin suburbs plus Yerrabi Pond. This first 20km is a tour de force of Canberra’s shared path network.
Then leave suburbia for farmland and bush, stopping at Sutton bakery for refreshment. More country riding, crossing the Federal Highway and south almost to Queanbeyan.
Head west towards central Canberra, passing airport (loo option) and War Memorial. Pass through CBD, stopping for lunch at one of numerous options. Tour scenic ANU.
