We will use part of the Kuringgai Streetscapes route to access Lane Cove River Park. Contact leader if you need help parking non restricted close to St Leonards. Cancelled if raining severe weather.
Ride Description
Scenic loop ride via the Epping Road cycle path and Bicentennial Reserve to Castlecrag for distant views from Tower Reserve and samples of Walter Burley Griffin architecture from the Parapet. We then view upper reaches of Middle Harbour and Willis's Castle from Harold Reid Reserve Middle Cove. The route returns via the tranquillity of Lane Cove River National Park riding close to the river for the full length of the park and exiting by a quiet route to the Epping Road cycle Path. Mostly on quiet roads and cycle paths. Includes some short steep hills.
